Week 2 was Cook Island language week, our school Polynesian Group had two full days of practice preparing for a performance at Central school on Wednesday 4th of August.
Wednesday was also our School's Cook Island Mufti day. That is where we could dress in mufti but had to wear COOK ISLAND themed mufti. It was a great turn out and it was pretty cool looking around our School and seeing an explosion of colours.
Here are some of our students all dressed up.
We also got to design a Cook Island style shirt and created individual tivaevae patterns.
Waiho i te toipoto, kaua i te toiroa.
Let us keep close together, not wide apart
