 Another Covid year and the Year 8's started school first - masks were mandatory:

The first task for them was to create posters for display that showed our school values: WHARE

Year 7's arrived and both groups  created infographic posters (Y7 using Canva) and slides (Y8) to help the class to get to know each other :

Our Theme was   Ko Au

 

The Year 8's  researched events that happened on their birthdate

Year 7's presented information about themselves using Canva:

New Year 8's,  and Year 7's created their pepeha to join the existing Year 8 ones in the class - these are always displayed in Room 10.

Te Whare Pono learned new waiata and  practised the ones learned last year:

In Science (with lots of Covid interuptions - we averaged 12-15 in class for a couple of weeks)  we learnt about the importance of Hydration
