Pomegranates and Persephone

Room 10 are learning about Greek Myths and Legends,and they now know that myths explain natural phenomena like seasons.
 Last week they read the story of Persephone. Poor  Persephone is kidnapped by Hades and ends up in the Underworld, where she eats 3 pomegranate seeds.In this myth, this explains why we get the 3 months of Winter on Earth.
