All students prepared a written speech to deliver the class - peer assessments were done using our class success criteria and the top three went through through to our Te Whare Pono finals. From there the three best were selected for the school finals.
These videos were recorded at class level - a lot more practice of presentation took place before the school finals.
Corey won the Year 8 Speeches with his speech on Space Junk, Payton informed the school on the events at Tarawera and Abigail spoke on Kindness, both were also placed.
Kelani won the Year 7 Speeches with her persuasive speech about NZ becoming a republic and Niko gave his speech on his favourite topic Marvel vs DC was also placed.
A very successful speech competition for this year's Room 10's.
