Last year Room 10 took part in a calendar exchange with a school in France. We sent a calendar we created ( showing the scenery, important dates and aspects of life in New Zealand) to France, (and to Italy, Korea, Taiwan and the USA.)
With our summer holidays and school shut over this time our calendar from France took a little extra time to reach Room 10.
Thanks students in Genevieve Mouthar's class at Joseph Calvet School, Saint Paul de Fenouillet near Perpignan, what a wonderfully informative calendar you have created. The class of 2016 will enjoy learning about your part of the world each month this year.

Christmas Card Exchange
Term 4, saw Room 10 creating a calendar to send to classes overseas and taking part in a Christmas Card exchange. In pairs cards were created that showed a little of what Christmas in NZ is like and these were sent to - The USA x 4, Poland, Switzerland, Norway, Turkey, Italy, Sri Lanka, England and India.
We finished school for the year on December 17th so unfortunately we hadn't received cards back from all countries by that date. However they'll be there waiting in 2016. We did get some replies and this video from Poland explaining Christmas traditions in that country...
